Ilaignan and Melody
Ilaignan and Melody
Vidyasagar's latest Album Ilaignan has got 3 fantastic tunes. He is too good in his melodies and he surprises us with rich and grand orchestration this time. The beauty of the tunes are the multi-layered orchestration and lovely lyrics from Pa.Vijay.
1. Mazhayil Kulitha Malarvanam by Karthik, Anvesha
2. Imaithuthane by Chinmayi
3. Oru Nila Oru Kulam by Karthik, Shreya Ghoshal
I reiterate., for a music lover, whether the movie is a hit or not, whether a "star" cast is there or not does not matter. Would always support the honest attempt and committed creativity.

November - Music Picks
As usual., picking out some nice music from November releases :
1. Aadukalam by G V Prakash
Yathe Yaadhey track - G V has composed and sung this track written by Snehan. Energetic, lovely track. very nicely sung. Punch is visible thru the track and sure to become a hit.
Ayyayyo track - SPB is back nicely. Decent melody in the lines of 90s Raja sir music... especially Inji iduppazhaga nuances.
2. Manmadhan Ambu by DSP
Neela vaanam track - simple melody, nice orchestration. Beautifully written and sung by Kamal.
Kamal kavidhai - kavidhai is told and tuned. Anguish is expressed and prayer comes as reply. Interesting tune by DSP. Wonderful feeling expressed in a lovely acccent, punctuation by Kamal and Trisha. Not to be missed !!!
3. No One Killed Jessica by Amit Trivedi
Dilli track - Strong rock influence can be observed in Dilli track. Packed with full of Spunk and energy.
Aali Re - supposed to be a party sung. Expresses the views of headstrong women with lot of slang thrown in.

Stock Market outlook - Dec 2010
Markets fell to 5765 levels from 6250 levels and recovered in the first two sessions of December to hover back at 6000 levels.
The strong support for Nifty would remain as 5800-5850 and resistance would be 6165-6185. The trading range could be between 5900 to 6150 for Nifty.
Focus would return to Mid-cap stocks and they could witness hectic buying activity. Polaris, Mphasis could outperform in December.

OMR - IT Expressway

Nothing changed in infrastructure part of Chennai. Looks like the DMK government is not interested in planned development, improvement of the crowded neighbourhood.
I took these pictures thru my phone E71 on Dec 1, 2010 near Lifeline hospital, OMR Road. Just one hour of downpour and the roads are badly flooded, no drainage outlets and one side of highway got closed for traffic. This resulted in massive jam and delays to common public.

Thank you Mr. Assange
Thank you Mr. Assange.
Internet stands for real freedom., no hidden info., you choose what to read or see. It can be good or bad.
WikiLeaks releases classified information over a period.... We can read, argue, fight and decide who is good or bad. Thats the beauty of it.
We all know politics is dirty irrespective of which country you belong to. We all are waiting endlessly for so called "weapons of mass destruction" to come out in Iraq.... Hence, Thank you Mr. Assange.
This will be a good step forward to define the "relationship" between the countries... eventually., they will find a way out as they need to transact business... let it be, relatively straight forward. Even that small percentage would improve the health of the world.
To quote from BBC: Wikileaks lays bare day-to-day work of diplomacy whose honeyed public words normally seek to hide the acidity of real opinions.

A man’s warning to another man about a woman:
If she looks straight into your eyes,
She has no dignity, so beware;
Did she hold hands with you in an instant?
She is a (bitch); beware,
If she talks aplenty while undressing,
She has plenty of experience (on bed); beware,
If she talks aplenty after intercourse,
She might fall in love with you; so beware
If she speaks of literature and poems,
She is one who will have no respect for money; so beware
Does she say she loves being with you and wants to remain with you?
That’s definite trouble; beware.
A woman’s desire on all this perceptions:
Just like how you wait for the seeds to grow after you plough,
Treat lust just as such, Reap it only when the time is Ripe;
If being together is the only purpose of all,
Lust can wait to be secondary;
Do not think too much about what women think about you,
Take life as it comes your path,
Men and women are like the dice,
It goes either way; There is no superiority,
In an act as bygone as lust,
Assure that love doesn’t get mixed into it;
A woman’s prayer to song to Varalakshmi (Kamal recites):
I want a husband, With white perfect teeth,
Who will whisper slowly into ears after intercourse,
And gently bite my neck,
I want a husband,
Who smells like a baby, sans any smell in his mouth,
I want a husband, who after intercourse,
Stays back and helps me wash off the acts of lust,
And not be disgusted by it;
I want a husband;
Who will help me while I’m cooking;
I want a husband,
Who will provide me with a shoulder to lie on;
At times when I want release my anger,
He should have a chest as strong as rock to take my hits;
But beyond that chest, I want a soft, compassionate heart,
I want him to have a head with big brains;
I want him to have loads of savings in his bank account;
And plenty of money to live life with;
I want loyalty, I want devotion;
At times when I demand for my own freedom,
I want him to have the presence of mind to grant me my freedom;
So that I’ll get a husband as such,
I prayed for nine days; (Navarathri),
And I went searching for the one believing that my Varalakshmi will grant my wishes;
(To the beach)
As I placed my feminine steps on the beach and walked,
I saw men with big fat bellies walking the beach;
I saw saints,
Who gave up all their posessions, and submitted themselves to the will of God;
(naked, sans property of clothes)
Who were sleeping on bed with naked women;
I saw my elder sister’s husband;
Even though he fits most of my criterias;
At moments when my sister is not around;
He desires for a (keep, extra marital fling);
I stopped caring about religion and race,
And I searched everywhere;
But I realized men with husband material are a rarity in the marriage market;
I ask my Varalakshmi again;
From you I asked a wish to be granted;
I shall ask you Varalakshmi;
How did you find your husband?
How far did your wishes come true as far as your husband is concerned?
How is your man, whom I can only see lying down all the time?
(Referring to Lord Vishnu)
All the stories that are told about your husband,
All the tales;
Did they happen for real?
Does any woman, you (Varalakshmi) included, ever get the husband who fits all the criteria?
If it really came true for you, you are truly lucky;
If as such; do give similar luck in finding,
Sri Varalakshmi Namostutey.
