Yen

The Japanese currency Yen is quoting at dangerous levels of 85.3 against USD. My opinion that stock markets are over priced and next the fall could be triggered by Currency crisis. I had written about it some time back.

The level between 83 to 89 is very crucial for Yen. The fall of Yen will trigger a major crisis of exports to Japan manufacturing units and it will have a side effect to other supporting economies.

I reiterate once again, caution is the buzz word. Dont be one sided, that too, long sided.

Resignation episode

All the incidents in the below email is imaginary. Any similarities to real life is just incidental.

1. One married lady team member resigns and her release date is fixed as per notice period. She has resigned bcoz she wants to be with her husband who lives in another city.

2. Intimation goes to client.

3. Client Manager calls up why is she resigning., she is a good resource., we dont want her to leave.. blah blah....

4. Resource co-ordinator confused and explains the background.

5. Client managers asks find out what her husband does and see whether you can offer him employment in your company !

6. Resource co-ordinator turns speechless. He gets call from the account manager, his boss, resource co-ordinator's boss - all asking the same question - what does the lady's husband do., and u dont know abt it ???

7. Resource co-ordinator is trying hard to find a way to handle this situation !

Sensex outlook - Aug 2010

Nifty is hovering in the range of 5350 to 5425 for the past 10 days. Nifty will make attempt to break the resistance of 5465 - 5485 during Aug and can touch 5525-5545. If there is any correction, 5350, 5285, 5250 would act as support.

Last month's prediction of Opto and Bank of India worked out well. Bank of india touched 410 in and Opto touched 270 levels in July.

Kotak bank could be the dark horse for the month of Aug. CMP 780. If it violates 805 convincingly, it could touch 835 - 848 range. Support can be seen in 750 -762 range.

Even though market is holding on at higher levels, tread cautiously.

Update on Aug 5: Kotak recorded Rs.837. book partial profits.

01. Puthiya Manidha By S. P. Balasubramaniam, A. R. Rahman, Khatija Rahman - 3.5 / 5 - not a typical intro track., but this slow,semi techno track sinks in after 3-4 listening. Khatija has made an impressive debut with lovely pronunciation.

02. Kadal Anukkal by Vijay Prakash, Shreya Ghoshal - 4 / 5 - Melody track. nice music arrangements, impressive lyrics shapes up this simple tune to an wonderful track. Will become an sleeper hit.

03. Irumbile Oru Idhaiyam by A. R. Rahman, Kash'n'Krissy - 3.5 /5 - techno track. wonderful lyrics by Karky - echil illa enthan mutham, sarchai indri kolvayaa? ratham illa kadhal endru othi poga solvayaa? .... Wow... but some how the track sounds bit repetitive

04. Arima Arima By Hariharan, Sadhana Sargam - 5 / 5 - Maginificiently mounted track, lovely music arrangements makes this song really addictive.

05. Kilimanjaro By Javed Ali, Chinmayi - 3.5 / 5 - Varied tempo arrangement makes this song little catchy. Typical duet could fall flat after multiple listening. Lacks the finishing punch.

06. Boom Boom Robo Da By Yogi B, Keerthi Sagathia, Swetha Mohan,Tanvi Shah - 3.5 / 5
