Why honey and milk are flowing in dalal street?

Sensex rallied from 9000 levels to 12000 levels from the holi holidays in March. The rally was totally different - it was quick, v-shaped, sucked out heavy short sellers, gap ups at crucial resistance levels.

Why?

It was due to heavy liquidity available with FIIs, Mutual Funds. They jumped and deployed when pessimism ruled the entire world. It was easy for them to pick up large quantities of stocks at throw away prices.

Will it hold?

It could hit 13200 - 13500 levels post our election results. I think, we will not have hung parliament, we will have some coalition government promptly formed as our politicians are smart enough not to miss opportunities.

Hamam Pavithra TV commercial - remix

Hamam TV commercial is being aired for the last one month - it goes like this - mother asks daughter to buy a soap - then bewilders - what will she buy, will she buy the hamam or something else - if she uses something else allergy will come, confidence would go etc etc... finally daughter pavithra buy the right soap - hamam and returns - every one is happy !!!

Father asks son to buy liquor / sarakku - son leaves - father is terrified - ayyo enna sarukkkunnu sollaliye, enna vanguvano - thappa vaangina vaandhi varume, thalai suthume, bothai eraadhey, ayyo enna pannuven etc etc... Son buys the right sarakku and comes back home - everyone is happy !!!

About Chennai Birla Planetarium

Chennai Birla planetarium is situated very close to my home. I managed to finally visit with my family on Thursday.

Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Center on one side - sadly maintained, most of the exhibits are not working - this place only requires some security and not any officers - that kind of sorry state.

Another broken play things were located outside and was called park.

We saw the cosmic show in planetarium and it was good, simple - that was the only consolation.

My son asked me a question at the end - why exhibits buttons are not working? is it bcoz science does not work?

I thought in my mind - science works, it is our administration which fails consistently.

It is always interesting to glance through old photos. Where and all you roamed, who were you with, what were you wearing.. the best of all, how funny you looked or your look changed over years !!!

In my case, my looks have alomost changed drastically from one gunja selling guy look to some decent, graceful look....

Oz stumps India on Davis Cup

Australia stumped India by withdrawing from Davis Cup matches. Tennis federation likely to levy a penalty on australia.

It was a sad episode on Indian foreign affiars, home ministry as they could not convince Australia for a five day stay in non violent city. They were highly reactive and not pro active despite the early warning from australian authorities.

When P Chidambaram takes credit for Sri Lankan affiars he should also take credit for this fiasco !!!!!
